Where is Aroes cacao sourced?

Our cacao is sourced from small, ecological farms in Central America, where cacao has been grown for generations as part of local culture and daily life.

Until now, our cacao has come from the region around Lake Atitlán in Guatemala — a place of extraordinary natural beauty and deep agricultural tradition. The farms we work with are family-run, operate on a small scale, and cultivate cacao with respect for both land and people.

We prioritize:

• ecological growing practices

• minimal processing

• fair working conditions

• no child or exploitative labor

Rather than working with industrial supply chains, we build direct relationships and choose producers who value quality, care, and integrity over volume.

As Aroes grows, we continue to expand our sourcing thoughtfully. We are currently exploring additional partnerships in Mexico, visiting farms in person to ensure that every future origin meets the same standards of ecology, transparency, and respect.

Our commitment remains constant:

beautiful cacao, grown responsibly, sourced with intention
